About Rebecca

Rebecca is a Master’s-qualified sport and exercise therapist specialising in musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation. She has five years’ experience spanning professional sport — including football and motor racing — and private clinical practice, working with athletes at elite level both in the UK and internationally.

Motorsport places unique demands on the body that most therapists never encounter: sustained G-forces, extreme heat, intense neck and core loading, and the need to maintain concentration under physical stress for hours at a time. Rebecca’s experience in this environment gives her a distinctive understanding of performance-related musculoskeletal conditions that goes well beyond traditional sports therapy.

Alongside her injury work, Rebecca is a qualified clinical Pilates instructor delivering one-to-one sessions and group classes across mat, reformer, and Cadillac Pilates. The combination of hands-on treatment and Pilates-based rehabilitation means Rebecca can take patients from acute injury management through to long-term strength and movement quality — with a focus on lasting outcomes rather than short-term fixes.

Conditions Rebecca treats

  • Sports injuries — acute and overuse injuries across a range of sports, with structured rehabilitation programmes informed by experience in professional football and elite motorsport
  • Lower back pain — acute episodes, chronic or recurring pain, disc-related symptoms, and back pain related to prolonged sitting or postural strain
  • Myofascial pain and dysfunction — trigger points, referred pain patterns, and chronic muscle tension that hasn’t responded to standard treatment
  • Movement and flexibility issues — restricted range of motion, muscle imbalances, and deconditioning, addressed through clinical Pilates and targeted exercise
  • Post-injury rehabilitation — progressive rehabilitation programmes with a focus on movement quality and return to full function

Treatments Rebecca offers

Rebecca delivers manual therapy, shockwave therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, cupping, and tailored exercise rehabilitation. She also provides clinical Pilates across three formats — mat, reformer, and Cadillac — both as one-to-one sessions and group classes, making her one of the few practitioners in the Hale and Altrincham area offering all three Pilates disciplines within a clinical rehabilitation setting.
