About Rosie

Rosie is a physiotherapist with a distinctive dual specialism in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation – a combination that is rare in private practice and gives her a breadth of clinical perspective that most therapists in a single discipline don’t have. She treats a wide variety of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals managing complex neurological conditions.

Rosie currently works alongside a professional rugby team and a professional mountain biking team, giving her live, ongoing experience of elite sport injury management and return-to-play decision-making. She is also an athlete herself, which means she brings first-hand understanding of training demands, competition pressure, and the reality of managing injuries while trying to perform.

What sets Rosie apart is her background in neurological rehabilitation. Before moving into private practice, she worked with complex neurological cases including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. This experience means Rosie is one of very few physiotherapists at a private MSK clinic who can also treat patients with neurological conditions – making Altius accessible to a patient group that often struggles to find specialist private physiotherapy outside of hospital settings.

Conditions Rosie treats

  • Sports injuries — acute and overuse injuries, with structured rehabilitation and return-to-sport programmes informed by current work with professional rugby and mountain biking teams
  • Back and neck pain — acute episodes, chronic pain, disc-related symptoms, whiplash, and postural pain from desk work or inactivity
  • Traumatic brain injury — physical rehabilitation following TBI, including balance, coordination, strength, and functional recovery
  • Stroke rehabilitation — structured recovery programmes focusing on movement retraining, strength, and return to independence
  • Multiple sclerosis — ongoing physiotherapy to manage symptoms, maintain mobility, and improve quality of life
  • Parkinson’s disease — exercise-based programmes to support balance, flexibility, strength, and movement confidence

Treatments Rosie offers

Rosie delivers manual therapy, shockwave therapy, sports massage, and tailored exercise rehabilitation. Her treatment approach draws on both her MSK and neurological training, meaning she can adapt her methods to the individual — whether that’s a structured return-to-sport programme for a rugby player or a carefully graded mobility plan for a patient recovering from a stroke.
