Conditions We Treat at Our Manchester Physio Clinic
Our physiotherapists treat a wide range of musculoskeletal, sports, and post-surgical conditions. If you are unsure whether we can help with your problem or injury, get in touch and we will let you know.
Sports Injuries
From weekend runners to professional athletes, we treat ligament sprains, muscle tears, tendonitis, ACL injuries, rotator cuff problems, runner’s knee, ankle sprains, and shin splints. Our team’s background in elite sport means we understand the demands of returning to competition and will build a rehabilitation programme tailored to your goals and your sport.
Back and Neck Pain
Lower back pain, sciatica, disc herniation, neck stiffness, postural pain from desk work, and whiplash injuries are among the most common conditions we see. We use a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercise, and where appropriate shockwave therapy or injection therapy to reduce pain and restore function.
Joint Pain and Arthritis
Whether it is knee pain, hip stiffness, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, or tennis elbow, our physiotherapists will assess the underlying cause and create a structured treatment plan. For patients with osteoarthritis, we also offer Ostenil injections to help manage symptoms and improve joint mobility.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
We work closely with orthopaedic surgeons across Manchester to provide rehabilitation for patients following knee replacement, hip replacement, ACL reconstruction, shoulder surgery, and spinal procedures. Our clinic has a fully equipped rehab gym so we can progress your recovery from early-stage exercises through to sport-specific and functional training.
Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor
Our women’s health physiotherapy service covers pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related pain, antenatal and postnatal care, and bladder problems. These services are available at our Hale and Bury clinics as well as online.
